Our history

The Persico family is a well-established presence in our community, with a history of over sixty years of activity.

Originally, the building was a popular restaurant along the Via Flaminia, an essential rest stop for thousands of travelers. Valentino and Marisa Persico, founders of this family business, quickly won the hearts of tourists and regular customers. Numerous famous personalities, including Sandra Mondaini, Claudio Villa, the Pooh, Lucio Dalla, Little Tony, Patty Pravo, and Amanda Lear, have stopped here.

Not only the restaurant and hotel, but also the discotheque "Verve" has made its mark in the province. Since the 1980s, this dance hall has been a pioneer in the entertainment world, attracting young people from all over the area.

Today, along with grandmother Marisa, daughter Orietta and granddaughter Sara manage the hotel restaurant Metauro with great dedication, continuing to meet guests' expectations. Their experience and passion ensure a warm welcome and high-quality service.
